Davila Woodwork Inc. is a small family owned home and business construction company based in Broward County, FL.

I was tasked with designing and building their new website to grow their brand awareness online and be a sort of reference or gallery of their previous projects. I had a blast working with Johnathan, their Social and Digital Manager. I originally was hired to fix website bugs but by the end we had a newly designed site with better UX and overall digital branding.

Project Summary

A fully responsive website made in Webflow that centralizes their amazing past building projects, but we did not start that way! When I was originally brought on we worked on multiple existing bugs on their Webflow site.
I was able to fix a majority of the bugs, but due to a few major errors we opted to rebuild AND redesign the site all together. We ended up with a better branded and more enjoyable site.

Discovery

I begin every design project, UX or not, with a Discovery Workshop. It helps me get a better sense of what the stakeholder is looking for objectively and I also get a good idea of where I can have some input in the project. I learned that Davila Woodwork has a very impressive track record of phenomenal construction work with a modern feel every time! I saw this as an opportunity to design some mockups to show Johnathan, the digital manager at Davila Woodwork. Johnathan loved one of the designs and we decided to move ahead. Turnaround time on this full website was approximately 8 days.
